One of your employees by the name of Lisa save my life a few weeks ago. I landed on the last flight from Dallas to LaGuardia New York on 04/09/26. Upon leaving the plane, I noticed a young lady standing on the jet bridge awaiting the passengers to de-board the plane. This young lady had freckles on her face with red hair. I noticed her because she had a distinct features. On my way to the rental car, I discovered my wallet was missing out of my purse. I knew that I used my credit card on the plane to purchase a glass of wine, it had to be on the plane. I quickly called American Airlines customer service in a panic. I was given two options; return to the baggage claim to submit a claim or go on online. I chose to return to the airport. Upon arrival I spoke with agents in baggage claim who advised me to submit an online claim. Frustrated, I got on my phone and started the process, while doing it I looked up and I saw the young lady from the jet bridge, who I now know as Lisa. I called out to her and asked if she was the person that attended the flight from Dallas. Lisa looked at me and said "You are the lady who lost her wallet." I was overjoyed. She told me she found my wallet but had to give it to her manager because my wallet had money in it. Lisa was able to update all the information she knew to baggage claim. I was able to recover my wallet in less than 24 hours. I am extremely impressed with the help I received from Lisa and the airlines. This trip was so important to me and my identification was needed to execute my plans. I am eternally grateful to Lisa. Every time I think about how this situation could have been disastrous had not Lisa been an honest individual.
